What Data We Collect
If you subscribe by email (no sign in)
- Your email address only
- Date of subscription
- Whether you are active or unsubscribed
If you sign in with Google
- Email address (from Google)
- Full name (from Google profile)
- Profile picture URL (from Google)
- A unique identifier from Google (auth_uid)
- Last sign-in timestamp
Automatically collected
- Page views and session data via Google Analytics (anonymised, no personal identifiers)
- Page load metrics via Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-first, no cookies, no personal data)
We do NOT collect
- Passwords (Google handles authentication)
- Payment information (no paid tier currently)
- Location data
- Device fingerprints

How We Use Your Data
- Email address — to send the daily Teesra newsletter you subscribed to, and a one-time welcome email
- Name and avatar — displayed in the Teesra interface when you are signed in
- Auth UID — to link your Google account to your subscription record
- We never sell, share, or rent your data to third parties
- We never use your data for advertising

Newsletter & Email
We use Resend (resend.com) to send emails — your email is stored on their platform as well. See Resend's privacy policy at resend.com/privacy.

Google Sign In
- Authentication is handled by Google OAuth via Supabase Auth
- We receive only the profile information you authorise Google to share
- Your Google password is never seen or stored by us
- You can revoke Teesra's access to your Google account at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions

Data Storage
- Subscriber data is stored in Supabase (supabase.com), a PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS infrastructure
- News articles are stored for 5 days then automatically deleted
- Subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe and request deletion

Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Unsubscribe at any time
- Withdraw Google sign-in consent

Cookies
- We do not use tracking cookies
- Cloudflare Analytics uses no cookies
- Google Analytics uses anonymised cookies for aggregate traffic measurement
- Your theme preference is stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie, never sent to our servers)

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of Teesra after changes constitutes acceptance.
