FACTS · LEFT · RIGHT · PULSE
Every news story has more than one truth.
The same event — a Supreme Court verdict, a budget announcement, a border incident — is reported differently depending on who is covering it and why.
Left-leaning outlets emphasise one dimension.
Right-leaning outlets emphasise another.
Both are selective. Neither is lying.
Most readers only ever see one side.
Teesra shows you both — every story, every morning — alongside verified facts and what people across India are actually saying.
The name comes from Hindi: तीसरा, meaning "the third." The third perspective. The one most people never read.
Facts
Only what happened. Verified across 3+ sources. No framing, no spin.
Left Lens
How progressive Indian media frames this story — written in that voice, not about it.
Right Lens
How conservative Indian media frames this story — the same facts, a different emphasis.
Street Pulse
What specific communities and groups across India are saying — not vague "public opinion."
Indian news media has a fragmentation problem.
If you read only The Hindu, you see one India.
If you read only OpIndia, you see another.
Both are reading the same events. Neither is entirely wrong. Neither is entirely right.
Most Indians have settled into one media bubble without realising it. The algorithm feeds them more of what confirms what they already believe.
Teesra is the antidote.
Only what happened. No spin. Sourced from 3+ credible outlets before a story is selected.
How progressive Indian media frames this story. Written in that voice, not about it.
How conservative Indian media frames this story. The same facts. A different emphasis.
What specific groups of Indians are actually saying and feeling — not vague "public opinion" but named communities.
Every morning at 6:45 AM IST, an automated pipeline runs:
Fetches from 16+ news sources across the political spectrum
Scores each story for national relevance, youth relevance, and source diversity
Selects 20 stories that meet a 3-source minimum threshold
Sends each through Claude AI with strict prompt rules that prevent meta-language and manufactured opinion
Publishes to teesra.in and sends the newsletter before you wake up
No editor. No agenda. Just the brief.

Built Teesra to solve my own problem — I was spending 45 minutes every morning reading news and still feeling uninformed because I was only reading one side.
