About Teesra
India has a news problem. Not a shortage of it — we're drowning in it. Every outlet has an angle. Every headline is designed to make you feel something before you've had time to think.
We grew up as India's first internet generation — on Twitter, YouTube, Instagram since before it was cool. We watched the same event get reported ten different ways depending on who you followed. We learned, sometimes the hard way, that every headline has an agenda.
Teesra is the tool we wished existed. Not another news app that shoves breaking news at you. A thinking tool — one that shows you the facts, then shows you how the left sees it, how the right sees it, and what people on the street are actually saying. Then gets out of your way.
The goal isn't to make you read more news. It's to make you think better about the news you do read.
Verified before visible
A story appears only after 3+ established publishers have covered it. We will never break news. We will always get it right.
Show the lens, not the view
We don't have an editorial opinion. We show you how others frame a story so you can see the frame — and step outside it.
Not every story is political
Sports gets fan sentiment. Politics gets left and right. Sensitive stories get facts first with extra care. The presentation adapts to the nature of the story.
Respect the reader's intelligence
No sensationalism. No panic. No telling you what to conclude. Young India is smart enough to form its own opinions — it just needs honest raw material.
Under 5 minutes, every morning
The entire Teesra brief is designed to be read before your chai goes cold. Dense, honest, fast — then back to your life.
